Imagine yourself as one of your favorite non-fictional or fictional characters. Join us for a glimpse of DIGIVATIONS Overnight Camp Demigod, www.campdemigod.com, whose worlds come alive by mashing up different book and movie genres (Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Steampunk and Dystopian) with current/historical events, settings and characters. Participants design, produce, build and role-play, incorporating story elements from various literature and media series (Percy Jackson, The Hobbit, Jules Verne, Hunger Games, Divergent, Dr. Who, and more). Students extend their ideas by engaging in creative story boarding and other fun hands-on activities. This is a great workshop for future Demigods, Camp Demigod counselors-in-training (CITs) and counselors.

Register at the main counter at Village Books, or by calling our store at 360-671-2626. For more info about the program contact Drs. Steven and Anne Deane Berman, founders of NASA award-winning DIGIVATIONS & DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigod, info@campdemigod.org, 360-543-5641. $30 per participant (a $75 value)
"It was a pleasure to host such a committed and enthusiastic team who were well-prepared, dynamic, and engaged. The DIGIVATIONS team sparked the creativity of the students who hold the torch as innovators of the next generation. The students left excited at the prospect of how all their "divergent" interests could be channeled towards a bright future!"
     - Jan Turner, Richmond Public Library Ironwood Branch, 2014
