8:1 STUDENT TEACHER RATIO
Why do Classes have a Limited Enrollment?
DIGIVATIONS™ class enrollment, in most cases, is limited to 12 students with 2 staff. Students at different levels of skill, maturity, and having diverse interests are encouraged to learn at their own rate with the instruction and expectations appropriate to their skill and age level. With this philosophy, students will be challenged to improve at their own rate and develop confidence and new friendships within the program. Class instruction will often take place in a group setting but targeted one-on-one instruction allows each student to catch-up or forge in new directions at their own rate. Our classes are original, authentic, and creative yet designed to yield outcomes which enhance teaching and learning outcomes both at their current level and beyond. While students are expected to follow proper rules of engagement, they are facilitated in a manner where they accept self responsibility and governance in a relaxed and productive environment. A core value and theme of the classes and program is having students learn, work and play together cooperatively demonstrating the value of effective collaboration establishing valuable friendships and respect for each others ideas and opinions.
